What Is The Last Alaskans About?
The Last Alaskans is an American reality television series. The series premiered on Animal Planet on May 25, 2015. The second season premiered on the Discovery Channel on April 12, 2016. The fourth season premiered on the Discovery Channel on November 25, 2018. The series follows several families and trappers who live in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska.

“Though I say so myself it was a rather fine show, well done, tasteful, moderate, visually very attractive, family-oriented and about as authentic as it gets in non-scripted TV. It was a blue-chip show and had a strong following of extremely loyal viewers, who seemed to have really bonded with and taken something meaningful from the series. Many have wondered why it was canceled and if there is any hope of its eventual return. ”

Please renew The Last Alaskans! One of the best shows on TV. You keep bad shows on instead… Naked and Afraid, Alaskan Bush People, car shows, and others that promote bad behavior. This show shows honest, hard-working people trying to survive in one of the harshest (but beautiful) places without modern conveniences.
Please renew the last Alaskans for season 5. There are few de ent programs on tv. DIscovery channel had a good lineup but over the years programs have been dropped and replaced with stuff that doesn't measure up to family viewing.
The Last Alaskans is the best and believable reality show compared to many that I've viewed, followed by mountain men and life below zero( except for that windbag Sue Akins). Renew this show or you will lose a lot of your audience. You guys need to get some people who can research and find out what people really like. I'm with Betty, over the years programs have been dropped and replaced with stuff that doesn't measure up to family viewing.
It would be a crime not to continue "the last Alaskan" series

We are really disappointed that a new season is not announced! By far the best Alaskan show that has been on. We watch both Alaska the last Frontier, and Life Below Zero, but The Last Alaskans was the better by far!

I'm deeply saddened to read that The Last Alaskans has been cancelled and wish you would reconsider your decision. This show is head and shoulders above similar shows. The videography, music and people are extraordinary.
Just like everyone else that loves the last Alaska so here it is again please, Please bring it back on my husband n I love watching the show it's very good to watch you get to see how really ppl lives with out powers, running water etc so like everyone else that has asked for you to bring it back on for all us fans that loves the show can watch it. I have to agree with what has been written in all the previous comments regarding the quality of the show … I too lived in Alaska in the late 50's early 60's … very authentic.
My wife & I have watched every episode from season 1 onward and I think it's a shame if it has been cancelled… DFB
Why take a good, decent show off the air? This show teaches life values and that hard work pays off. I barely turn my television on these days because I do not consider the shows being forced on us is worth a blink of my time. This is one show I looked forward too. Reconsider your decision, as these families have proven tirelessly, money is not everything.
Please renew "The Last Alaskans". I'm afraid this is another case of the people in "show business" not understanding what the people in flyover country want to see.

Please reconsider renewing the Last Alaskans. This show I have really looked forward to seeing each season, I even enjoy the reruns. People are tired of all of the terrible tv shows that are being shown and all of the political BS. This is such an interesting show and there are many of us who will be really disappointed if you do not renew this show.
Please bring back the last Alaskans. It is such a good show, real life and no drama. It is my favorite show to watch and I really look forward to it. When I grow up I want to be Edna Korth!
