CNBC’s hit series “The Profit” returns for its sixth season on Tuesday, December 4 at 10 PM ET/PT. Over the course of the series, serial entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis has invested $75 million of his own money helping small business owners save and grow their companies – and now he’s ready to put even more on the line. This season, the 2018 Critic’s Choice Awards-nominated series features 12 all-new hours, including a “sequel” of sorts to one of the show’s most explosive episodes – The Casery, from Season 5.

And that plan will work… as long as everyone is on board.

When Marcus Lemonis isn’t running his multi-billion dollar company, Camping World, he goes on the hunt for struggling businesses that are desperate for cash and ripe for a deal. In each episode, Lemonis makes an offer that’s impossible to refuse; his cash for a piece of the business and a percentage of the profits. And once inside these companies, he’ll do almost anything to save the business and make himself a profit; even if it means firing the president, promoting the secretary or doing the work himself.
