Did CNBC Cancel The Profit Season 9? 2023 Date
The Profit Season 9
Was The Profit cancelled or renewed for season 9? When does it start on CNBC? Now that season 8 is over, fans are wondering if the show will continue for another season or not. In this post, we have summarized everything we know so far about the next season.
What Is The Profit About?
Billionaire Marcus Lemonis saves failing small businesses with his knowledge and experience including his own capital. Being the chairman and CEO of multibillion-dollar corporation Camping World takes up a lot of Marcus Lemonis' time. But when he's not running the company, he's searching for struggling businesses in need of cash. Lemonis tries to help turn each company around by offering cash for a piece of the business and a percentage of the profits. Now he's bringing that process to TV with this series, in which he puts millions of dollars of his own money on the line. Once he's working with the company, he does whatever is necessary to save the business and make a profit for himself -- even if it means firing the president. Although some of his changes could be considered radical, the companies should be willing to go along with them because in the last 10 years, Lemonis has successfully turned around more than 100 companies. To quote the not-so-humble Lemonis, "When I have skin in the game, my way is the only way your business will survive."
When Marcus Lemonis isn’t running his multi-billion dollar company, Camping World, he goes on the hunt for struggling businesses that are desperate for cash and ripe for a deal. In each one-hour episode of The Profit, Lemonis makes an offer that’s impossible to refuse; his cash for a piece of the business and a percentage of the profits. And once inside these companies, he’ll do almost anything to save the business and make himself a profit; even if it means firing the president, promoting the secretary or doing the work himself.
Lemonis is back putting his own money on the line to try to help small businesses across the country and he has never been more invested. This season, Lemonis visits eight businesses each facing different and unique challenges during these unprecedented times. With his 3P’s principle – People, Process, Product – Lemonis evaluates each business and charts a path forward.
In the August 10th premiere episode, Lemonis faces one of his biggest challenges to date when he visits a family business in Utah that is drowning in debt. With his help, the family will need to become a hive of activity to turn their fortunes around.
When Marcus Lemonis isn’t running his multi-billion-dollar company, Camping World, he advises struggling entrepreneurs who need help rebooting their business. Using his years of experience and often investing his own money, Lemonis empowers the business owners to find innovative ways to rescue or grow their company.
“The Profit” is produced for CNBC by Machete Productions with Amber Mazzola and Marcus Lemonis serving as executive producers. Adam Barry is the executive producer for CNBC.
