What Is Leverage: Redemption About?
The Hitter, the Hacker, the Grifter and the Thief are back, this time with help from a new tech genius and corporate fixer, to take on a new kind of villain. When someone needs help, they provide...Leverage.
The second season consists of 13 episodes with the first three episodes available immediately and a new episode released each Wednesday until the season finale on January 25, 2023. The fan-favorite first season of Leverage: Redemption is also available on demand and as a FAST channel on Amazon Freevee.
In this new iteration and new world, the Leverage crew have watched as the rich and powerful continue to take what they want without consequence. Grifter Sophie Devereaux (Gina Bellman), thief Parker (Beth Riesgraf), hitter Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane), and hacker Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge) have watched the world change over the last eight years. Since their last job, it’s become easier-and sometimes legal-for the rich to become richer and the powerful to squash anyone who gets in their way.
To address the changes in the world around them, the team finds new blood in Harry Wilson (Noah Wyle), a corporate lawyer who is looking for redemption after realizing he’d been sitting on the wrong side of the table for his entire career, and Breanna Casey (Aleyse Shannon), Hardison’s foster sister who has a knack for computers, robotics, and getting into trouble.
The show had a long pause on the status updates so it was marked as “Cancelled” due to our general status update procedure. But now the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike is officially over and Christian Kane finished his work on Almost Paradise season 2, we can expect to hear an official announcement from the network soon. We will update this post once we get a confirmed renewal update from freevee.
Kate Rorick is the showrunner and executive producer alongside Dean Devlin, Marc Roskin, and Rachel Olschan-Wilson of Electric Entertainment. John Rogers and Chris Downey are consulting producers.

Leverage Redemption was best show ever. The plot lines, the characters, the relatonships. Tell .e its so. We were waiting for the some of the evil characters from Leverage!
Christian Kane stated July 16, 2023 it hasn’t been cancelled and a decision has been delayed due to the WGA-SAG strike
I agree with everyone. It’s a great and fun show. They should renew for season 3.
I agree with Jim Wentz in that they do seem to cancel the best shows and allow the junky shows to continue. Leverage Redemption is the best! Everyone involved in the production of Leverage Redemption should be proud! Very much crossing my fingers that there will be some sort of mutual agreement that is good for the writers and the writer's strike will soon end. (We need your imagination to entertain us, dear Writers)! Also hoping that Leverage Redemption will be back for Season 3 (and hoping the actors and people involved in the making of this show will be having as fun making Season 3 as we will be watching the show … even though I realize that they are officially "working" when they are making the show). Looking forward to bringing out the popcorn for Season 3 of Leverage Redemption!
Without Nate it just doesn't work. The cast has aged out of what they did in the past and it shows. Noah Wiley? Why? If you watch the Liberian it's comeback will have the same problem. Do the producers only know the same people?

I love this show it’s so good that I binge watch it. I really hope that they make more seasons. It sucks when they cancel shows that are so relatable in the world around us today that you wish everyone had a team like that that they could reach out to to help.it’s very sad that Timothy Hutton got into trouble but I do like the new characters they bring a different element to the show.
I am saddened the network removed an entertaining and decent family show. The characters played off of each other and we enjoyed the cons. I hope there is a change in their decision to remove Leverage Redemption and not leave us with a cliffhanger. We just watched the season 2 finale again to prepare for season 3.
Please reconsider. This is one of the few regular television shows we watch. These segments are interesting enough to attract us as regulars. The personalities are varied, and we are always attracted to "helping the underdog," or this particular type of "biter gets bitten" stories. Not all of your audience is attracted to reality shows, and inane programs making fun of someone.
Leverage and Leverage: Redemption are the rare shows worth watching. Please bring the series back!

Leverage Redemption is one of my all time favorite shows. It’s one of the very few shows I watch. Networks keep stupid shows that try to dumb down an audience. Why can’t they keep a well written show with great actors? It makes absolutely no sense. I loved Leverage, and got so excited when Leverage Redemption started. Please bring them back for season 3. If for no other reason than to show the craziness that results in the crew getting Hardison off the space station satellite.
so very sad to hear this….I loved this show……maybe another network or streaming service can reboot, save Hardison in Space AND bring back Timothy Hutton… ( a girl can dream)
Tim Hutton should have never been ousted! He was the anchor. They must get Harrison back home. Freevee has disappointed us they knew it was a great show… I just hope Dean Devlin comes up with something as good… And include the Leverage ORIGINAL cast with Noah added in. Someone will take this show I am sure.
OMG cant believe another fantastic show has been cancelled. Who does the renewals they need a wake up call as they are rubbish at their job. Bring it back!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh this is awful! I was soooo looking forward to season 3. its such a good show, why did they have to go and cancel it. The whole cast was awesome and the writting was sooo good. please please bring it back!!!

Always enjoyed the show. One of the few shows you could watch with little ones running around and not having to worry about bad content. I was looking forward to season 3.

Please don’t cancel Leverage Redemption! It is an amazing show! I loved the original Leverage. Redemption is the perfect follow up with strong characters and great stories.
Terrific show … creative, interesting story lines, great characters that you get invested in. Loved the original Redemption and the new one is as good. Bad move to cancel it!!
One of the best smooth running shows with personality and action, primarily because of the excellent writers and stars that make this show a huge, must watch series!!! It should continue for several seasons!!!
It is a shame that this show as cancelled. The writing was superb.
