What Is Leverage: Redemption About?
The Hitter, the Hacker, the Grifter and the Thief are back, this time with help from a new tech genius and corporate fixer, to take on a new kind of villain. When someone needs help, they provide...Leverage.
The second season consists of 13 episodes with the first three episodes available immediately and a new episode released each Wednesday until the season finale on January 25, 2023. The fan-favorite first season of Leverage: Redemption is also available on demand and as a FAST channel on Amazon Freevee.
In this new iteration and new world, the Leverage crew have watched as the rich and powerful continue to take what they want without consequence. Grifter Sophie Devereaux (Gina Bellman), thief Parker (Beth Riesgraf), hitter Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane), and hacker Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge) have watched the world change over the last eight years. Since their last job, it’s become easier-and sometimes legal-for the rich to become richer and the powerful to squash anyone who gets in their way.
To address the changes in the world around them, the team finds new blood in Harry Wilson (Noah Wyle), a corporate lawyer who is looking for redemption after realizing he’d been sitting on the wrong side of the table for his entire career, and Breanna Casey (Aleyse Shannon), Hardison’s foster sister who has a knack for computers, robotics, and getting into trouble.
The show had a long pause on the status updates so it was marked as “Cancelled” due to our general status update procedure. But now the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike is officially over and Christian Kane finished his work on Almost Paradise season 2, we can expect to hear an official announcement from the network soon. We will update this post once we get a confirmed renewal update from freevee.
Kate Rorick is the showrunner and executive producer alongside Dean Devlin, Marc Roskin, and Rachel Olschan-Wilson of Electric Entertainment. John Rogers and Chris Downey are consulting producers.

Leverage redemption was a incredible episodic. There should have been a season 3. That’s coming from a 1st A.C. It was easy to watch and great not ones like it come out often very unique, I loved it and sad to see another great show cancelled

I can't believe that leverage redemption season 3 has been cancelled. I love watching the show, it made me laugh and gave a good feeling that not all rich users get away. Considering the way our society is now we could use more uplifting shows.
So an article with no date (that I can see!), says "Now that season 2 is over"…
When Season 2 has another 2 episodes left to air as of my typing this.
It may be that there's is no S3, but I certainly don't trust this site to tell me that.

Why is Leverage Redemption cancelled? Kept coming up with surprising good storylines that proved to be very entertaining. Suppose a so called reality show will take its place. Nothing to look forward to now, so thanks a lot feevee!!!

I will be absolutely heartbroken if they cancel leverage redemption it is something that my daughter and I watch together and she gets so excited for the new episodes it's one of the best shows to come out. I've been an avid fan since the original series. To me it's very foolish to cancel the series it's doing so well. It is given this Cast brand new audience to fall in love with them. I hope that this is wrong.

No, Leverage: Redemption has not been cancelled officially
Learning that there won't be a season 3 of Leverage Redemption is akin to having your parents tell you that there is no Santa Claus. It is a shame that a show that has the little guy winning is being taken off the air. Leverage Redemption is the modern equivalent of the 1960's western where the good guys win.

Very disappointed there will not be a season 3 for Leverage: Redemption. I enjoyed Redemption every bit as much as the original series. Redemption was the only reason I started watching FreeVee. Guess I'll be watching a lot more Acorn and Britbox.

It’s a great show, fun TV to watch which is rare these days. Season 3 should be reconsidered, not too late to correct the cancellation mistake

Of course it's being canceled. It's a great show with great actors. It has unique story lines and isn't "woke".
