Even though more than ten years later, police in South Barrington, Illinois deem it murder and arrest David’s adoptive father, Frank Buschauer, for the crime. Frank’s sister, Linda Berck, agrees. Not an ounce of her believes her brother is capable of what police say he did. Police say Frank held Cynthia under water until she drowned, but Linda insists that the evidence they claim to have is not evidence at all.
