What Is Almost Paradise About?
The drama follows Alex Walker (Christian Kane, Leverage: Redemption), a former U.S. DEA agent who, after his partner's betrayal and a life-threatening battle with hypertension, is forced into early retirement and relocates to a small tropical island in the Philippines.
Kane is Alex Walker, a former U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agent forced into early retirement. The combination of his partner’s betrayal and a life-threatening battle with hypertension has sent him as far from the madness as he can get – to a small tropical island in the Philippine archipelago. He now runs the gift shop in the island’s luxury resort hotel, which attracts the rich, powerful, and sometimes criminal elite from around the world. Despite his best efforts to transition from Jason Bourne to Jimmy Buffett, Alex is pulled back into a world of dangerous people and deadly situations – either through his friends in the local police, Kai Mendoza (Samantha Richelle) and Ernesto Alamares (Art Acuña), or encounters with people from his old life. And the problem is that he likes it.
Almost Paradise was shot entirely in the Philippines. Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson of Electric Entertainment executive produce alongside co-showrunners Devlin and Rosen. Mark Franco co-produces.

I just got done with season 2, I loved it, please bring on season. 3.
Almost paradise is an oustanding show the cast is tremendous together.
This show is as good as ncis and its been on for about 21 seasons.

Absolutely one of the best Series to come out this year!! Season 1 and 2 were quite a "thrill ride" and the "on screen chemistry" between Alex and Detective Kai Mendoza was great!! I can't wait to see a full set of at least 5 more Seasons. This show and the reboot of Magnum PI Series are my two favorites to watch!! Both are filmed in gorgeous Tropical Paradise locations. We want more to watch ASAP!!!

They simply have to renew Almost Paradise for more seasons after 2. It still has the action, suspense, and humor, but the characters are coming together now. Its getting even better each season. I savor each episode.
