What Is Whose Line Is It Anyway About?
Aisha Tyler hosts this skit comedy show where the actors on the show, usually Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles and another guest star or two do different comedy skits. It's all improv and made up on the spot.
This show takes the phrase `audience participation’ literally. Members of the studio audience suggest ideas for the games and skits that four actors, usually improvisational comics, perform. Host Drew Carey occasionally joins in on the improvisational fun. Regular guests on the show include Wayne Brady, Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie.
The CW renewed the show for a 16th season, with new episodes airing since March 30, 2020 in order to fill the void left by TV series affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. On May 14, 2020, The CW renewed the series for a seventeenth season that will begin airing Fall 2020.
