The Season 7 of Yukon Men premiered April 21, 2017.
Tanana, Alaska, is like the Pacific Northwest’s version of Hotel California: You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave. Well, not exactly, but describing the town as remote is akin to saying the winters are chilly. Located at the junction of the Tanana and Yukon rivers deep in the state’s interior, the town has no roads in or out, and for its 200-plus residents, survival in the winter is a daily challenge. `Yukon Men’ unveils the people of Tanana, who struggle to find food, heat their homes, and ward off predators. But they stick together, a bond that helps them overcome the harsh conditions.
Just 60 miles from the Arctic Circle lies a town on the edge of civilization: Tanana, Alaska. This frozen village of 200 people is at the junction of two powerful rivers, with no roads in or out, where wolves howling through the frigid night air remind the residents how isolated they really are. As the men come together to face these new obstacles, each is also challenged on a personal level. At the end of the day, each man will be pushed to the limit. Pushed to decide: How far will they go to live free? To be a Yukon Man?

Yukon Men is the best of the Alaskan series but I love all of the Alaska shows. But my two favorites have been cancelled. I don’t know who or how they make decisions to cancel certain shows. It seems that if I like it that’s a sure sign.
I really miss the show it was great and real and showed some wonderful people living and thriving in the wilderness. There's a lot of wilderness shows on but there is only one Yukon men .
Yukon Men and similar shows are which are great to watch. Please renew and schedule.

We sure miss current Yukon Men – it is one of our favorite shows! The families are interesting and almost seem like part of our family after watching it for so long. Sure hope it will be back on with new episodes so we can continue enjoying this show. All of the Alaska shows are our favorites – interesting to see how they survive in the frigid weather. Please bring this show back on.

I'm hoping Yukon Men is returning for an 8th season. My favorite show right up there with the Last Alaskans.
There are many shows these days showing this kind of life style. I have always thought Yukon Men gave us the best representation of family life in the wild.
The show really started jumping the shark with the fake staged “accidents” and scripted drama. Bringing in chubby ex playmates pretending to hunt and actors Chris and Jessi pretending to ruff it in the wilderness! The show shot itself in the foot!
Please bring Yukon Men back to our screens………really enjoyed it with all their trials and tribulations……made me really appreciate the comfortable lifestyle I have……

Please bring Yukon Men back along with The Last Alaskans! These were two of my most favorite shows! Just loved to watch them, now I’m stuck watching reruns, love them too but seen many times! Please!!!!

They finally come out with 2 very solid real Alaska TV shows and never really talk about them and they seem to drag there feet as far as renew and filming schedules!!!! The Last Alaskans and Yukon Men are by far the best Alaskan based shows on TV. I also enjoy the Kilcher family also. But getting back to the other 2 shows, I’m 54, and never really had given much thought to that state. Not because I didn’t like the state or type of living, I just knew very little about it. But after watching both shows they always left me waiting and wanting much more. From the way the live, how dangerous it is to live there, how hard they all must work just to get though the 7 months of winter. I’m sorry, but I’m not that tough, not at all, I enjoy my comforts of grocery stores, hot showers, and toilets. I can honestly say I’ve learned so much more about living life from that show then I ever learned in my school days. That’s a fact. I could go on and on here, but Discovery Channel needs to bring both of these back and continue them for years to come. There’s so much to learn from these shows. Instead, they’d rather renew FAKE Alaska shows like that Brown family, now that show has become just laughable. All you learn from that group of freaks is mom want grand baby’s ASAP, if it wasn’t for there children, they’d be living in tents starving to death, and the father would still be in the clink for making them all claim they lived in Alaska full time to get the Oil Checks every year, when they hadn’t lived there for years. On top of that, they lived in a normal house in the burbs. No roughing it in the woods, nothing like that at all. FRAUDS, but that foolishness is back on in Aug 2020. PATHETIC.
I don’t want Yukon men to end. I really look forward to seeing it. Please keep it on!!! Please. I live for this show!
