What Is Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector About?
Russell Hornsby (of Grimm and the just-canceled Proven Innocent) heads the cast of this series adaptation of Jeffery Deaver’s novel The Bone Collector, which was previously made into a not all that good 1999 film. He plays Lincoln Rhyme, a former forensic specialist with the NYPD who was forced to retire when an encounter with a serial killer left him paralyzed. But he is brought back in when a young detective (Arielle Kebbel of Midnight, Texas) has a lead on the same killer. Michael Imperioli, Brían F. O’Byrne, Brooke Lyons, and Tate Ellington also star. The adaptation comes from relative newcomer Mark Bianculli and former Justified writer/producer V.J. Boyd. Note that The Blacklist will go on a brief hiatus to make way for this newcomer, which runs until March.
