Premise: Based on the fantasy book series by Andrzej Sapkowski, Netflix's rendition of The Witcher is one of the most anticipated new shows of 2019. The epic family saga tells the tale of Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter struggling to find his purpose. Geralt is one of the few remaining witchers, meaning he is trained and mutated from an early age to slaughter deadly beasts. He believes humans to be more wicked than the beasts he hunts, but Geralt's fate changes when he runs into a powerful sorceress and a young princess with a twisted secret. Together, the trio must rely and trust each other as they navigate their increasingly violent world.
