What Is Ratched About?

Ratched is an upcoming American drama web television series, based on the novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, that is set to premiere on Netflix. The series was created by Evan Romansky and is set to star Sarah Paulson as the titular Nurse Ratched.

Another Ryan Murphy project is in the mix over at Netflix. Set as a prequel series to One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, the new drama will follow the titular psychiatric administrator from Salem State Hospital. Nurse Ratched will take place in 1947 and outline the character’s trajectory from a normal nurse to a nightmarish monster.
