What Is Treasure Quest: Snake Island About?
According to a legend that dates back to the 16th century, a cache of Incan gold worth hundreds of millions of dollars is hidden off the coast of southeastern Brazil. It’s known as the `Treasure of the Trinity’, and it’s eluded all who have sought it for 500 years. But a modern-day team of explorers follows a radical new theory to uncover its whereabouts: a remote, treacherous island where thousands of deadly vipers roam. On the expedition to Queimada Grande – known to locals as Snake Island – the hunters are armed with advanced technology to unearth complex clues and decipher puzzles that have protected the treasure for centuries. This Discovery series takes viewers along on the epic journey to one of the most dangerous places on Earth.

Right now I am at a loss as to why the best shows on cable are disappearing like Billion Dollar Wrecks, Cooper's Treasure and Treasure Quest: Snake Island and the other spin-off of it? It seems to me like every time we are close to actually getting answers or finding a treasure the series just disappears. I am beginning to think that most of the cancellations are due to this government and others who are shutting down these programs to seize their share and you just keep leaving us high and dry without any explanation of what has happened. These have all been very exciting shows and we have learned a lot from them and to just continue to pull the plug on them doesn't make me want to keep getting invested in any shows on your channels. You and the other channels need to follow up on all these finds and either update them or tell us why you stopped airing them. I am very disappointed with the Discovery Channel, the Travel Channel and the History Channel.
I totally agree with Bonita. It really ticks me off to get involved in these shows and then the network just shuts it down with not even an ounce of respect for the people who were watching. We deserve at the very least an explanation as to why they will no longer air the shows. Not to mention those who were involved in the shows. And you cannot find one little bit online about them either. Total silence.
Yes, please bring back these show! Cooper's treasure and treasure quest left us hanging. Figured the governments stepped in. These were so interesting. Maybe better advertising or time slots would get a bigger audience!
I agree too! The sad thing is that there's no follow up for the audience. If the Government took it over, at least give us some info.
I joined Discover to watch the entire show . they better get it soon i dont want to see gold any more this was a great show best yet . what is the hold up.
They found the treasure discovery and the guys from the show took the treasure and ran it showed they found it at the end of season 3 there’s nothing to go on about
I really enjoyed the treasure quest episodes I just wish they could come back showing if they got the gold out the tunnel of water or what happened since they just leave you hanging since 2018 that's been 5 years they need to bring them back it's a good series too many shows are canceled when I've invested my time watching them it's aggravating don't put them in in the first place if you plan on yanking it off the screen.
