What Is Treadstone About?
Treadstone explores the origin story and present-day actions of a fictional CIA black-ops program known as Operation Treadstone — a covert program that uses a behavior-modification protocol to turn recruits into nearly-superhuman assassins. The series follows sleeper agents across the globe as they’re mysteriously ‘awakened’ to resume their deadly missions. The program breaks down these assassins’ personalities, erases their memories, and eliminates their moral code so they can effectively kill targets around the world.
The series explores Treadstone’s legacy and begins in an East Berlin incident that transpires in 1973. This involves John Randolph Bentley (Jeremy Irvine), one of the program’s agents, who escapes his Soviet captors. The story then zooms to the present day, following a group of assets being “activated” by force or awakened after a moment of high tension.
The last episode of the series was released on November 17, 2019 in the US.

Treadstone was an amazing show! Intellectual, historical intrigue, espionage, extremely exciting! And I could go on. So much of what is on these days is pure trash, with none of the above. I can't believe Treadstone was canceled!
Cable networks are trash this is why cable is dying. They allow 8-12 seasons of trash to air for years and cancel every good show before it is finished. I am done with network TV. Can consider my cable canceled Hulu you are canceled to treadstone was the one legitimate good show U.S.A network had.
Hulu and cable consider yourselves canceled until you bring back the the treadstone series.

Mistake. Ratings just aren't the same anymore!! But doesn't mean this show wasn't quality, cause it is was right up there with colony. Failed on canceling this show

Treadstone season 1 brilliant entertainment for those that like all action thrillers. Could not believe there is no follow up season 2. How can the producers cancel a good series
It never fails to amaze me how they cancel good shows but allow garbage to proliferate. They need to realize that ratings are not what they use to be and they will never return to the days of yesteryear.
