The Morning Show Series Premiere

When does "The Morning Show" start on Apple TV+? Will The Morning Show be a successful show? Who is in the cast? Where to watch trailer & more. In this post, we have summarized everything we know so far about the new Apple TV+ series.

What Is The Morning Show About?

Apple may have money to burn, but did it just buy another Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip? The highest-profile title of Apple’s new slate of originals—which received a two-season, 20-episode order for a whopping price tag of $300 million following a bidding war with multiple networks—is set in the cutthroat world of a network TV morning show newsroom. At least there are some big names to show for that money. Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell (who will depart after season 1), and Reese Witherspoon head an impressive cast that also features Mark Duplass, Billy Crudup, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Bel Powley, and Nestor Carbonell. But production got off to an inauspicious start when original showrunner Jay Carson was replaced early on due to creative differences. Now running the show is Kerry Ehrin (Bates Motel), while Mimi Leder directs and also produces. The series is partially based on CNN reporter Brian Stelter’s book Top of the Morning.
