What Is The Great Heist About?
Inspired by the true events, The Great Heist follows the assault on the Bank of the Republic, also known as “The robbery of the century” perpetrated in October 1994. A band of thieves stole US $33million and put the whole country upside down.
The Great Heist is the newest addition to Netflix’s growing slate of Colombian originals, including Distrito Salvaje, Siempre Bruja, Historia de un Crimen: Colmenares, Frontera Verde and Chichipatos, among others.
First season of The Greatest Heist will premiere on Netflix on 14th August, 2020.
