What Is The Flight Attendant About?

Flight attendant Cassandra Bowden wakes in her hotel room in Bangkok, hungover from the night before, with a dead body lying next to her. Afraid to call the police, she continues her morning as if nothing happened, joining the other flight attendants and pilots traveling to the airport. In New York, she is met by FBI agents who question her about her recent layover in Bangkok. Still unable to piece the night together, she wonders if she could be the killer.

The critically acclaimed Max Original series THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT has added Mo McRae, Callie Hernandez and JJ Soria as series regulars, with Cheryl Hines, Jessie Ennis, Mae Martin, Margaret Cho, Santiago Cabrera and Shohreh Aghdashloo joining the cast as recurring guest stars.

Logline: Season two of THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT finds Cassie Bowden (Kaley Cuoco) living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue. Season two has begun production and will be shooting in Los Angeles, Berlin and Reykjavik.

Newly Announced Series Regulars:

Mo McRae (“Rebel,” “Big Little Lies,” recently wrapped filming his feature directorial debut “A Lot of Nothing,” which he also co-wrote and produced) as Benjamin Berry, a career CIA officer who may have a bad habit of getting a little too involved with his assets. McRae is represented by CAA, Anonymous Content, Viewpoint and attorney Erik Hyman.

Callie Hernandez (“One of These Days,” “Soundtrack,” “La La Land”) as Gabrielle Diaz, a quick-tempered and calculating bounty hunter whose impulse control issues often get in the way of her job. Hernandez is represented by UTA, Management 360 and Paul Hastings.

JJ Soria (“Gentefied,” “Filly Brown,” “The Oath”) as Esteban Diaz, Gabrielle’s partner and lover who tries to keep a level head and stay focused on the job, but often gets just as heated as his girlfriend. Soria is represented by Pakula/King & Associates and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher.

Santiago Cabrera (“Star Trek: Picard,” “Big Little Lies”) as Marco. Cabrera is represented by APA, Principal Entertainment LA, Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher and Viewpoint.

Shohreh Aghdashloo (“The Expanse,” “24,” “House of Sand and Fog”) as Brenda. Aghdashloo is represented by CAA, Round Table Entertainment and Nancy Seltzer & Associates.

Returning Cast: Series regulars Kaley Cuoco, Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz and Rosie Perez are set to return for the new season, along with recurring guest stars T.R. Knight, Yasha Jackson and Audrey Grace Marshall.

Credits: THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT is developed by showrunner Steve Yockey, who serves as executive producer alongside co-showrunner Natalie Chaidez. Greg Berlanti, Kaley Cuoco, Sarah Schechter, David Madden, Suzanne McCormack and Silver Tree are executive producers. Jess Meyer is co-executive producer and Bonnie Munoz is producer. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television, Cuoco’s Yes, Norman Productions and Berlanti Productions.
