What Is The Family Business About?
The Family Business is an American crime family drama created by Carl Weber and based on his bestselling crime drama book series. The series follows the Duncans, an upstanding family that owns and operates an exotic car dealership in New York. It stars Ernie Hudson, Valarie Pettiford and Armand Assante.
Welcome to the world of the Duncan family. They appear to be upstanding citizens running one of New York’s most respected car dealerships, but in reality, they’re leaders of the black mafia who control most of the East Coast underworld. No matter which job is at hand, one thing is true about the Duncans: there is nothing they won’t do for family.
Midway through its second season, BET+ has picked up a third season of Carl Weber’s The Family Business, based on Weber’s bestselling crime drama book series. Production is scheduled to begin next month in Los Angeles. You can watch a trailer below. The Family Business follows the Duncans, an upstanding, tightknit family that, by day, owns and operates an exotic car dealership in New York. By night, their business activities are more illicit in nature.
Returning for Season 3 are series stars Ernie Hudson, Valarie Pettiford, Darrin DeWitt Henson, Javicia Leslie, Sean Ringgold, Tami Roman, Miguel A. Nunez, Arrington Foster, KJ Smith, Dylan Weber, Yadi Valerio and Emilio Rivera.

I love this show. African-Americans really do not get quality TV shows. And, a show that has millions of African-Americans sitting on their seats for the next season. Power series on Starz got that kind of response. Additionally so did "Our Kind of People" & "Queen Sugar" which was canceled for no good reason. I just hope that they keep the Family Business going and air the next season of the "Black Hamptons". What truly baffles the intelligence of the viewers is the fact that BET+ was created for African-Americans, but BET+ isn't listening to their viewers. Some how African-Americans always
come up short-sided when it come to our Black Entertainment; Always.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE "FAMILY BUSINESS" Great Plots & Twists. Awesome Actors!!! At the end of each season finale I'm left wanting MORE!!! PLEASE BRING IT BACK. The anticipation of the shows return is overwhelming. You really have to pay close attention to ALL of the details. A critical piece of information can be missed in the blink of an eye. It's so good, I have watched all episodes from Season 1 through Season 4 at lease 3 times, LOL!!! Each time is like seeing it for the first time. Carl Weber really put his stamp on this one!!!

Bet has great programs, however the time between 1 season to the next is too long. That's how good Bet shows, documentaries and movies are! I love seeing people that look like me on 24/7. So speed it up, it's that GOOD!

I love The Family Business. The Duncan's are not your everyday family living next door. Lol. I love the scandal, drama and betrayal. One thing about them "They some riders". "They gone ride for their fam." OMG, the actors play their parts exceptionally well. Can't wait to see what the writers have cooked up for the next seasons. Yes, I said Seasons. Lets get it writers.
