When Does “The Eric Andre Show” Season 6 Start? Adult Swim Release Date
The Eric Andre Show Season 6
Was The Eric Andre Show cancelled or renewed for season 6? When does it start on Adult Swim? Now that season 5 is over, fans are wondering if the show will continue for another season or not. In this post, we have summarized everything we know so far about the next season.
What Is The Eric Andre Show About?
Comic Eric André hosts a late-night show that parodies low-budget public-access programs and brings the talk genre to another level — not in a good way. It features interviews with celebrities — some really are, and others are impersonators — and what producers describe as “extreme real-life weirdos” interspersed with “deranged” man-on-the-street segments and just general chaos in the studio. Working with André is apathetic sidekick Hannibal Buress, who serves as the straight man to the hyperactive host.
The Eric Andre Show is an American surreal comedy television series which began airing on May 20, 2012. The show premiered on Adult Swim and is a parody of 1990s culture and low-budget public-access talk shows. The series is hosted by comedian Eric Andre and co-hosted by fellow comedian Hannibal Buress. As of February 2018, all episodes have been directed by Kitao Sakurai and Andrew Barchilon. Gary Anthony Williams served as the announcer in the first season, being replaced by Tom Kane in the second season and Robert Smith from the third season onwards.
Fifth season of the show premiered Sunday, October 25 at Midnight ET/PT on Adult Swim.
Now that the world is openly falling apart at the seams, there is only one Late Night talk show deranged enough to match the zeitgeist of the times! Strap in, shave your head, your ass, and the thin membrane separating your skull from your brain as Eric jam-packs each episode with tortured celebrities, ethically complex street pranks, and severely injured rappers. Hannibal Buress quits, Filipe Esparza co-hosts, Lakeith Stanfield loiters, and Hannibal’s clone Blannibal is born. Along for the ride, this season’s guest stars include Adam Rippon, Dermot Mulroney, Luis Guzman, Tia Carrere, Robin Givens, Jai Rodriguez and Omarion, among others.

The show IS NOT cancelled. Eric Andre disclosed in a YouTube video, entitled "Eric Andre Answers the Web's Most Searched Questions…Again" by Wired, that the show is not over. When asked why the show ended, Eric responded "Shows not over, didn't end". He states that after every season, people console him over the show's cessation, and he has no idea what they're talking about. A date has not yet been released, but the season 6 of The Eric Andre Show has been confirmed.
