Robyn McCall, an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background, uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn. McCall comes across to most as an average single mom who is quietly raising her teenage daughter. But to a trusted few, she is “The Equalizer” — an anonymous guardian angel and defender of the downtrodden, who’s also dogged in her pursuit of personal redemption.

In the reimagining of the classic series, Latifah stars as Robyn McCall, an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn. The show launches on Sunday, Feb. 7 at 10 PM ET / 7 PM PT on CBS and CBS All Access (time is approximate after live post-game coverage from Super Bowl LV, which starts that day at 6 PM ET).

Later that night, audiences will enjoy a special original Sunday edition of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the #1 show in late night.
Before February’s excitement, mark your calendars for Sunday, Jan. 24! That evening, following the NFL’s AFC Championship Game (with live coverage starting at 6:30 PM ET), Executive Producer Dick Wolf’s hit crime drama FBI will air at 10/9c on CBS and CBS All Access (time is approximate after post-game coverage). Plus, the Emmy Award-winning The Late Late Show with James Corden will air a special Sunday edition that night following your late local news.
After Super Bowl weekend, The Equalizer will move to its regular Sunday 8/7c time period on Feb. 14. In addition to Academy Award nominee and multi-hyphenate Latifah, the series’ cast also includes Chris Noth as William Bishop, Lorraine Toussaint as Viola “Aunt Vi” Marsette, Tory Kittles as Det. Marcus Dante, Adam Goldberg as Harry Keshegian, Liza Lapira as Melody Bayani, and Laya DeLeon Hayes as Delilah.
Following the AFC Championship, FBI will return to its regular Tuesday 9/8c time period with an original episode on Jan. 26. The series stars Missy Peregrym and Zeeko Zaki and centers on the inner workings of the elite New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

I love the show! I have been a fan of Queen Latifah for a very long time now. I think she’s an amazingly talented woman. I hope the show has a good long run time. With so many people using their electronics to watch their favorite shows I don’t think the shows get enough advertising. There needs to be more advertising on the Internet.
