What Is The Envoys About?
Two priests need to find the whereabouts of an alleged healer who mysteriously disappears. Soon they discover a psychiatric community on the outskirts of town which is hiding secrets behind the missing healer.
In the second season, Priests Pedro Salinas (Méndez) and Simón Antequera (Silvestre) delve into a web of mystery and murder in a Galician convent. With three blind nuns bearing witness to a supposed miracle, the battle between lies and faith escalates. As they probe deeper, tragedy strikes with the sudden demise of their host Joaquin. Now entangled in a dual investigation, the priests confront not only the mystical, but also a much earthlier truth. As the battle between deceit and faith escalates, this season promises an electrifying fusion of mystery, murder and heart-pounding thrills.
In addition to stars Méndez and Silvestre, the cast also includes Assira Abbate, Marta Etura, Manuel Ríos, Susi Sánchez, Charo Zapardiel, Cristina Marcos, Ricardo de Barreiro, Isabel Naveira, Miquel Insúa, Pepo Suevos, Guillermo Carbajo, Francis Lorenzo, Carlos Olalla and Luis Iglesia. Season two of THE ENVOYS was filmed in various locations throughout Galicia, Spain. Season one was the best-performing Spanish-language scripted series on the platform in the U.S. and earned Gold for Best Drama and Silver for Best Screenplay at the New York Festivals(R) TV & Film Awards, one of the most prestigious international awards in the industry.

Great want to see more better than Evil.
The show is excellent. The cast’s performance has a realistic depiction of events. It should come back for multiple seasons. If it doesn’t, fire those in charge of cancelling the show, then hire people with a vision of what an outstanding production looks like.
This is an excellent, very well done series. Both priests are very believable–especially liked Simon Antequera. His hestitation and deep feelings really came through when he was to kiss the doctor. Miguel Angel Silvestre is an outstanding actor. Please renew this series–it's one of the best done series right now. Produced and directed by Academy Award winner Juan Jose Campanello,,,,,,,,
