What Is Space Force About?
Space Force is a workplace comedy series that centers on a group of people tasked with establishing the sixth branch of the United States Armed Forces, the United States Space Force. Carell's character, Mark Naird, is the first general of the Space Force and is in charge of the effort and the series follows his collaboration to get "boots on the moon" by 2024, per the orders of the president.
Season 2 of Space Force picks up with General Naird and his underdog team having to prove their worth to a new administration while dealing with interpersonal challenges. Will the group come together or fall apart under the pressure…? Space Force is only human after all.
The Office vets Steve Carell, Greg Daniels, and Howard Klein reunite for another workplace comedy—and, yes, that work is indeed the newest branch of the American armed services, just as they are getting off the ground (so to speak). Carell stars opposite John Malkovich, Lisa Kudrow, Ben Schwartz, Noah Emmerich, Jessica St. Clair, Tawny Newsome, Fred Willard, Diana Silvers, and Jimmy O. Yang.
The last episode of the series was released on February 18, 2022 in the US.
