What Is Shameless About?
Oscar-nominated actor William H. Macy stars as Frank Gallagher, a single father of six who spends much of his free time drinking at bars. The Gallagher children — led by oldest daughter Fiona (Emmy Rossum), who takes on much of the child-rearing responsibility due to her mother’s absence — manage to raise themselves in spite of Frank’s lack of parenting and unusual parenting style when he does choose to act like a father. The drama is an adaptation of the BAFTA Award-winning British show of the same name.
It’s the last call for The Gallaghers and you’re invited to the party to end all parties. After a decade of dysfunction, the South Side’s favorite clan is going out with the biggest bang ever. It’s going to be a wild last ride, but changes are coming that will force each of them to either step up or hit the road. And while devolving may come more naturally than evolving in a family where excess never gets old, they know one thing for certain – Gallaghers may grow up, but they’ll never grow apart.

All those seasons i watched and it ended the way it did. Bad way to end this show. Very disappointed wish i hadnt even watched it now.

Ending Shameless is ridiculous. The way season 11 ended was disappointing I mean Frank dies seriously why and the way he did really don’t know what of. And Lip we should have seen if he got a home and if he was going to have the new baby. What happens with Debbie. And Fiona wasn’t mentioned or shown for it to be the last show things was left hanging and it was such a good show to end very disappointing
I have enjoyed this show from the start with my 2 daughters. Every year am asking my older daughter when's the next season of Shameless starting? I thought it really sucked when they removed the older daughter which always seemed to bring the family together at the hardest times they all went thru, but even after she left they seemed to be as good as they always were even without her the show still went on! I hope the producers or whoever makes these decisions give the show another year at least ? 11 seasons is an awkward number to leave it at! I hope they will have a another chance to come back and have a season 12 by at least 2022. The way it eneded really sucks
I agree the way it ended really did suck…Fiona should at least came back for the last season, Lip and his girl with baby just left us hanging. Frank dieing are you for real….how could you end an 11 year old show that was so awesome to watch every year ? Just really sucks that you left so many fans hanging SHOWTIME!!!

I absolutely love shameless. I do have to say that Fiona was my favorite character and disappointment that she wasn’t even acknowledged on season 11. However, there’s a lot of unanswered questions at the finale of season 11 that most would agree demands another season to clarify. Also, bringing Fiona back even if for a 5 min cameo, just to make face on the Gallagher family, will definitely increase viewers, im quite confident of that “hint hint”. Anyways, yes I LOVE shameless and do wish for another season for more clarifying answers, as we shameless fans deserve it.
We loved the show. Fiona, she just left and I thought the show would crumble without her, but it didn't and it was still good. With Frank over dosing it was dumb. He knew how much he needed to do that and to have two needles? Why not just one. Lip stepped up and took over which I was glad.
I think if the show should ever come back they should have it with Frank coming out of a coma from his failed over dose and it was all a dream from the coma.
I think that ending shameless at season 11 was ridiculous. There were so many unanswered things at the end of the season. Did lip and tami end up being pregnant again? Did they end up selling the house? What happened to Debbie and Carl? Did kev and V sell the bar? They should at least make one more season to finish it off and answer questions. It was such a good show and it shouldn’t be ended like that, it’s not fair.
To much left unanswered. Make a season 12 at least to tie up loose ends. Shameless should go out with a bang not all these loose ends…..

I watched all 11 seasons back to back recently. Could not put my I pad down. Watched while in the kitchen , in the shower in the evenings. Looked forward to coming home do my thing and laying down for the rest of the evening. What a great show. So sad to find out the Gallagher era is over.
