What Is SEAL Team About?

The lives of the elite Navy SEALs as they train, plan and execute the most dangerous, high-stakes missions the United States of America can ask. SEAL Team is an American military action drama television series created by Benjamin Cavell. The series is produced by CBS Television Studios.

The action – and stakes – are higher than ever as Bravo Team is tested on the battlefield and at home. These heroes must balance their calling to serve with their family life as they navigate their careers in the military as warfighters.

Failure isn’t an option for the new Navy SEALs, and that kind of pressure can take a toll on the members of the special operations forces’ most elite unit.

This team — which includes Jason, the group’s intense leader, and Ray, Jason’s longtime confidant, along with loyal soldier Sonny and SEAL hopeful Clay — trains, plans and executes some of the most dangerous, high-stakes missions and deploys for clandestine missions around the globe at a moment’s notice. While serving their country is a worthy and rewarding cause, it can put a strain on the SEALs and their families, causing the guys to look out for one another in the face of seemingly overwhelming odds, both on and off the job.

CBS expands the storytelling universe for the hit Paramount+ drama SEAL TEAM, producing a stand-alone movie for the streaming service. The movie will come from the series creative team of David Boreanaz, Christopher Chulack and Spencer Hudnut.

The last episode of the series was released on January 23, 2022 in the US.
