What Is Revealed About?

In the premiere episode, Veronica will meet the Billups who yearn for a home that celebrates their roots and their history. Veronica will learn more about the family's West African origins and pays tribute by creating an heirloom sculpture inspired by the ancient Benin Bronzes. Throughout the series, Veronica will incorporate creative and thoughtful heirloom pieces into each home, including a vintage style record console and a display case full of sentimental items honoring passed loved ones. She also will spotlight cherished family photos and mementos previously stored away to renew each family's connection to their ancestors.

Design decisions will be influenced by family ancestry, stories and heirlooms in the new series, Revealed. Designer Veronica Valencia will take a fresh approach to renovation by customizing homes using her one-of-a-kind approach to diving into the family’s ancestral heritage as her inspiration. Working with her expert team, Veronica will dig deep to uncover each family’s unique history and infuse the spaces in their home with the techniques, materials and heirlooms that reflect the family’s culture. The end result will be stunning, personalized and functional designs that are full of heart and deeply meaningful.
