“Rehab Addict Rescue” Season 2 Cancelled or Renewed? HGTV Release Date, Trailer & News
Rehab Addict Rescue Season 2
Was Rehab Addict Rescue cancelled or renewed for season 2? When does it start on HGTV? Now that season 1 is over, fans are wondering if the show will continue for another season or not. In this post, we have summarized everything we know so far about the next season.
What Is Rehab Addict Rescue About?
Home renovator Nicole Curtis travels the country to mentor families who are overwhelmed by their own historic home renovations.
DIY-ers who thought they could restore grand old properties like a pro – but who soon found themselves in over their heads in the renovation process — will get a helping hand from home restoration pro Nicole Curtis in the new HGTV series, Rehab Addict Rescue.
Premiering Thursday, January 28, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the eight-episode series will follow Nicole – best known for her hands-on restoration of crumbling historic homes to their former glory in HGTV’s popular series Rehab Addict – as she rescues homeowners who are totally overwhelmed by the renovation process.
In addition to airing on HGTV, each new episode of Rehab Addict Rescue will be available on discovery+, Discovery Inc.’s new subscription streaming service, on Thursdays beginning January 28.
In each episode, Nicole will identify the homes’ must-haves: new electrical wiring, updated plumbing and structural repairs. With any leftover budget, she and the homeowners will then tackle the properties’ beauty projects with a little elbow grease, including reviving original hardwood floors, refreshing kitchens and bathrooms, and enhancing original architectural elements. In the end, Nicole and her team will clear away the mess so families can finally see the home they’ve always imagined.
“For years, I’ve been saving old houses from demolition and renovating them,” said Nicole. “In that time, we’ve inspired a lot of people to do the same. Then we get their calls for help. Now we’re here to save them when they find out what it really takes to save an old house.”
While starring on the popular HGTV series Rehab Addict, Nicole, a passionate preservationist, has enjoyed restoring numerous homes across the country and in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan. “I’m so happy that people aspire to save these stately old places,” added Nicole. “I love helping them find a way to turn a nightmare project into the family home they’ve always wanted.”
“HGTV fans have watched Nicole for years and now Rehab Addict Rescue allows her expertise to shine in a whole new way,” said Jane Latman, president, HGTV. “We anticipated this strong premiere performance and, with seven more episodes ready to go, we will satisfy every fan who wants to watch Nicole help homeowners. Her no nonsense, from-the-trenches advice and genuine passion for restoring older homes is what will keep new audiences coming back each week.”

We've been waiting for Thursday night for Nicole Curtis. Where is she? Love her show! Please put her on HGTV! The only reason I get that channel is because of her! She isn't on anyone anymore well I guess I don't need HGTV ANYMORE! Don't like the other shows. Just hers and Magnolia.
I only watch a few shows on hgtv and rehab addict I s my favorite. But can’t seem to locate it. All these husband and wife shows are the same and lousy.
This is literally the one and only show I have ever watched or watch now on HGTV! I wish the network would renew and stop constantly holding off! Nicole Curtis is real and talented. I have, to date, purchased two properties because of her show and utilized the things she teaches on every episode. Give your viewers what they are asking for! Without this show I will not be returning to the other nonsense on this network! I can not imagine why it is even a doubt in any of the minds of the powers at be that the renewal and immediate showing of season 2 should now at the very least in production. Thank you.
There is nothing worth watching on local TV anymore .. in my opinion. But I love the rehab shows. Nicole is one of my very favorites. Been waiting for the show to 'show up', please.

We're waiting to hear if Nicole gets renewed!!! Love the show.
Love this show. Please bring it back. Nicole and her team are amazing. The real world issues you come across when renovating these homes are helpful both in her ideas and designs.
I love Nicole's thrifty way of renovating old homes. Her shows always inspire me to work on my home! If she is ready many of her fans are ready for more seasons! However I understand if life has taken her to a different chapter right now.
It would be excellent to have Nicole Curtis return with more episodes of her program. She is outstanding and real. Love you Nicole!!
Just love her! NOBODY in the rehab business works harder. Love her intelligence and terrific sense of humor, all while she always demonstrates her generous soul. What a big heart she has – – whether she's working for charity or taking on these monster projects to ensure the safety and happiness of homeowners. She's just a true and genuine little powerhouse who brings such joy to her viewers. PLEASE keep going, Nicole. We miss you and hope for your happiness in whatever you elect to do. Wishing you all the best always!
I really enjoy Nicole’s rehab shows. Please bring them back
