ABC Drama Quadruples in Delayed Multiplatform Viewing Among Adults 18-49

“The Rookie” (10:00-11:00 p.m. – 7.2 million Total Viewers and 0.8/7 in AD18-49):

Part one of a two-part event of “The Rookie” drew the show’s largest audience this season (7.2 million). The ABC drama built for its 3rd consecutive telecast in Total Viewers (+7% – 7.2 million vs. 6.7 million) and also grew over the prior week by 14% among Adults 18-49 (0.8/7 vs. 0.7/6).

ABC’s “The Rookie” emerged as the No. 1 show in the Sunday 10 p.m. hour with Total Viewers (7.2 million), topping runner-up CBS’ “S.W.A.T.” by 14% (6.3 million).

“The Rookie” stood as Sunday’s No. 1 scripted series with Adults 18-49 (0.8/7), tying CBS’ “The Equalizer” (0.8/6) and “S.W.A.T.” (0.8/7).

After just seven days of viewing across linear and digital platforms, “The Rookie” quadrupled its initial Live+Same Day rating in Adults 18-49 to hit a 1.6 rating (+300% – 0.4 rating). In addition, “The Rookie” scored 9.0 million Total Viewers after seven days of multiplatform viewing, marking an increase of +5.1 million viewers over its Live+Same Day average (3.9 million).
