Love in Paradise: The Caribbean Season 2

Was Love in Paradise: The Caribbean cancelled or renewed for season 2? When does it start on Discovery+? Who will be returning for the new season? In this post, we have summarized everything we know so far about the next season.

What Is Love in Paradise: The Caribbean About?

Four couples who found love in the Caribbean and are hopeful their relationships will continue, despite the miles and drama between them.

90 DAY FIANCE: LOVE IN PARADISE will follow three new and two returning couples with so much at stake, they risk more than just a broken heart by putting their relationships with family and friends on the line. This season includes not only brand new sultry locations but also two LGBTQ+ couples– a first for the 90 Day franchise. Tensions rise and secrets unfold as these couples attempt to join their vastly different lifestyles together and they realize that their compatibility during a short-lived vacation romance may not be suitable for a lasting connection. Will these twosomes and threesomes reconcile their differences, or start to question if their time together was in fact, a mirage?

Meet this season’s couples:

Daniele (Yonkers, New York) & Yohan (Dominican Republic)

Five months ago, Daniele booked a trip to the Dominican Republic, where she met Yohan, a 6’7″ gorgeous local who was working as a fitness instructor at the hotel. Their eyes locked from across the lobby, and it was love at first sight. Six weeks later, Yohan proposed and now, Daniele is heading back to the Dominican Republic to marry him, and hopefully, conceive a baby. However, Daniele is 42 years old, ten years older than Yohan, and worries she won’t be able to conceive a child at this stage of her life. Will Yohan, who desperately wants to become a father, stay in the relationship if she can’t conceive?

Valentine (Los Angeles, CA) & Carlos (Colombia)

Despite having an active dating life in Los Angeles, VaLentine has never found ‘the one,’ but a random connection on social media led him to meeting Carlos, a hunky Colombian man with a mane of hair that drives VaLentine wild. The two fell in love over video chat but the pandemic kept them apart. Now, almost two years later, VaLentine heads to Colombia to meet Carlos and, if all goes well, he’ll propose. The sexual chemistry is palpable, but the bliss soon fizzles as they discover several major incompatibilities. Will the couple be able to find a compromise?

Frankie (Nashville, TN), Abby (Mexico) and Gaby (Mexico)

Five months ago, Frankie met bi-sexual couple Abby and Gaby, who have been in a relationship for ten years, while on vacation in Mexico. They had an unexpected threesome and spent five sexy days together. Once he was back in the US, Frankie continued his relationship with Abby over video chat and the two fell in love. Now, Frankie plans to return to Mexico, propose to Abby, and then start the K-1 visa process. But there’s just one problem – Gaby has no idea. Will the couples be able to work things out or will both the friendship and romance fall apart?

Aryanna (Quincy, IL) & Sherlon (Jamaica)

Last season ended with Aryanna giving birth in America to her son Odin without Sherlon present. After a trip to Jamaica where Aryanna attempted to convince Sherlon to move to America and raise their child together, she is taking one last flight out to Jamaica in hopes that Sherlon has a change of heart after meeting their son. Amongst other problems, now there’s a question as to whether or not Sherlon has been faithful. Is Sherlon ready to be a father and potential partner to Aryanna or, is his easy-going, tourist-pleasing fun-filled lifestyle still too hard to give up?

Amber (Seminole, FL) & Daniel (Costa Rica)

After meeting while Amber was on vacation in Costa Rica four years ago, a lot has changed for Amber and Daniel. They are now married and living in a house in Florida that Amber owns, along with her sister Ashley. But things are also very much the same – Amber is still complaining about money, still complaining about Daniel’s contribution to their relationship, and still wondering if building a life with someone from another country was the best decision. With their days in paradise behind them, can these newlyweds make their relationship last in the real world?
