What Is Long Lost Family About?
The show follows the original British series very closely, offering a chance for people who are desperate to find long lost relatives. The series helps a handful of people, some of whom have been searching in vain for many years, find the family members they are desperately seeking. It explores the background and context of each family's estrangement and tracks the detective work and often complex and emotional process of finding each lost relative before they are reunited. With the help and support of Chris and Lisa, each relative is guided and supported through the process of tracing the member of their family they have been desperately seeking.
Long Lost Family follows the stories of people who have, for one reason or another, experienced long term separation from members of their family and are seeking to be reunited with them. After a lifetime of separation, birth parents will reconnect with their biological families and children will meet the parents who put them up for adoption years ago.
Hosts Chris Jacobs and Lisa Joyner have a special connection to these people as they’re both adoptees who have embarked on their own journeys to discover their biological families.

I really enjoyed this show it is interesting how much families want to find members of their families. I look forward to seeing this new series come on again. I hope they announce the date soon.
