What Is Live Rescue About?

Live Rescue (stylized as Live + Rescue) is an American television program on the A&E Network. It follows live camera crew ride-alongs with fire departments and rescue squads in cities and towns across the country. The series is a spin-off of Live PD.

The show was originally hosted by Ashleigh Banfield. Matt Iseman took over as host for the second season.

Hosted by Emmy® Award-winning host and licensed physician Matt Iseman, “Live Rescue” follows EMTs and fire departments from across the country as they bravely put their lives on the line responding to emergency rescue calls. Matt is joined by analysts Captain Garon Mosby from the St. Louis Fire Department and Registered Nurse and New Orleans Paramedic, Dan Flynn.

In March 2020, the show was put on temporary hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
