After her husband's disappearance, Maria Luiza opens a Bossa Nova club in defiance of her normally conservative demeanor. A 1950s housewife goes to Rio de Janeiro to meet up with her husband, only to learn he's deserted her, but decides to stay and open a bossa nova club.
Girls from Ipanema, previously called Most Beautiful Thing (Portuguese: Coisa Mais Linda) in first season, is a Brazilian period drama web television series created by Giuliano Cedroni and Heather Roth. Produced by Prodigo Films, the series had as producers Francesco Civita and Beto Gauss, and Caito Ortiz as showrunner. It stars Maria Casadevall, Pathy Dejesus, Fernanda Vasconcellos, Mel Lisboa, Leandro Lima and Ícaro Silva.

In the air better have a season three. If no season 4 then a better conclusion.
Love this show about strong women. Makes me want to travel to Ipanema coast.
I loved this series with a wonderful cast, fabulous music, fabulous sets, and a great plot. However, how the second season ended was a real disappointment because if there is no season 3, I would consider the long time spent watching a true waste of my time! They need to wrap things up, either with a new season, or a 2 hour movie. Respect your audience!
