After a spike in unusual emergency calls in Morgan City, Louisiana, the town's mayor and his chief of police recruit a team of paranormal experts to investigate the bizarre supernatural activity.
After a spike in unusual emergency calls in Morgan City, Louisiana, the town’s mayor, Frank “Boo” Grizzaffi, and his chief of police, James “Bo” Blair, recruit local paranormal investigator Jereme Leonard, former FBI agent Ben Hansen and psychic medium Sarah Lemos to end the bizarre supernatural activity. With help from a local historian, they dig up disturbing history associated with the area and begin crossing over some of the restless spirits haunting the small community. Each spine-chilling case leads the team closer to uncovering the truth behind the ghostly infestation of St. Mary Parish.

This show had an episode that had the best full-body apparition capture ever seen on any of the similar shows. Why hasn’t it been renewed?
This show is the best paranormal show I’ve ever seen. They actually caught a ghost on camera. That’s totally awesome and added a lot of credibility to the show as well as the researcher they had. The team worked well together and they were working with the police. The History Channel should bring this show back but a different location would be interesting as well. I loved they were working together with law enforcement, it added a lot of value to the show. I have watched this series 3 times and really wish another series would be made of a paranormal team working together with law enforcement. I would love the same team but if not possible then another team would be good too.
