What Is For the People About?
Set in the Southern District of New York Federal Court, brand new lawyers work for both the defense and the prosecution as they handle the most high profile and high stakes cases in the country - all as their personal lives intersect.
It’s all hands on deck in both offices when United States Senator Walter Carson is shot by the police outside his son’s house. Sandra, Jill and new investigator Ted defend Julian Sarco, a teenager who inadvertently caused the shooting through swatting. When Jill and Roger are swatted themselves, Roger emotionally amps up the charges against Julian. Leonard realizes he made a mistake by taking the job in Texas and makes his way back to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, much to Kate’s dismay as Roger re-assigns the swatting case to him following her objections to the added charges. Meanwhile, Jay is tasked with defending a spoiled millennial when her parents turn her in for minor crimes to make her move out.
Jay’s parents are harassed at a polling place. Seth gets the case of his dreams, one that could take down a major crime family. Roger and Jill’s relationship reaches a crossroads.

For the People is such an intelligent TV show. Excellent Drama, good fun and it truly feels contemporary. I am looking forward to the 3rd season.

I found this show on Hulu. It is amazing.!!!! If ABC will not do season 3 then someone should. The show is engaging and reminds me of a realistic How to Get Away with Murder and Law and Order mixed.
We loved this show and were sorry toes it end. Loved all the characters, such good acting and kept our interest every minute. Watched it on HULU. Can't say enough good about this series!

The actors are great, the stories were real to life and relatable. My family truly wishes that it would have lasted longer than 2 seasons. We really looked forward to watching more episodes. Great jib!
