’20/20′ Improves on Previous Season in Total Viewers, Seeing Largest Overall Audience in 3 Years

For the 2021-22 broadcast season, “20/20″ stood as Friday’s No. 1 newsmagazine and beat NBC’s “Dateline” in Total Viewers (+2% – 4.210 million vs. 4.119 million), Adults 18-49 (+13% – 859,000 vs. 758,000) and Adults 25-54 (+10% – 1.176 million vs. 1.067 million), based on Most Current Data.  In fact, “20/20″ outdelivered “Dateline” in all three measures during the broadcast season for the first time in 3 years – since the 2018-19 season.

ABC News’ “20/20” is an award-winning primetime program anchored by David Muir and Amy Robach.
