What Is Encore! About?
Encore! is an American reality streaming television series hosted and executive produced by Kristen Bell and Will Gluck. Encore! reunites the cast members of high school musicals to recreate their performance years after they originally performed.
Executive Producer Kristen Bell brings together former castmates of a high school musical, tasking them with re-creating their original performance in a high school reunion like no other. Emotions run high as the former students face faded friendships, former flames, self-doubt, and killer choreography. Through it all, these unlikely groups of friends—with the help of Broadway’s best—just might pull off a standing-ovation-worthy performance of beloved musicals like “The Sound of Music,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Annie” and more.
When asked during the COVID-19 pandemic about the future of the series, creator Jason Cohen said, “Obviously, things right now are a little bit funky, with the coronavirus, and things have been thrown into flux a bit. But we are hoping we can do more.”

Loved loved loved this show!! So fun to see people go back and relive an amazing time in their lives! Also very fascinating to hear them relate how meaningful theater was/is in their lives. Great show that makes you feel good to watch it! I sure hope there are more seasons!
The BEST show on TV! I loved every bit of it, including the host! So interesting to see how the arts play a role in people's lives. Will be so disappointed if this positive, uplifting and worthwhile show is not renewed.

Heartwarming show that I think so many people can relate to, reflecting on their HS years. I really hope this show is brought back at some point. I'm sure it only ended because of timing and the pandemic.
