The series revolves around a couple who are in their early thirties with their five-year-old daughter and their divorced friends who live with them in a Los Angeles duplex. As in Regular Show, what seem like normal domestic crises usually escalate in surreal, often science fictional, ways. Regular Show creator JG Quintel returns with an adult animated series for the new streaming service HBO Max that centers on an extended family living on the east side of a surreal version of Los Angeles.
