What Is Candice Renoir About?
The story circles around French police officer Commandant Candice Renoir and her team solving different crime cases in a harbor city of south France. Candice herself is a mother of 4 children and recently divorced. Her daily routine is between solving crimes, taking out fights with her much younger female police superior officer, getting her kids to school - in addition - handling their problems too, and keeping her team in line. It's a very funny and witty series with a lot of French charm and intelligent storywriting. Not another dull crime series all over again. It's like a fresh French breeze on the TV screen. After 10 years abroad, Candice Renoir is back in the south of France and back on the case as a police commandant. Newly divorced with four kids, Candice feels rusty at work-and her skeptical colleagues don’t help. Determined to prove her so-called weaknesses are strengths, she solves complex cases with common sense, acute observations, and a practical nature honed by the life of a busy mom.
Candice Renoir embarks upon another series of cracking bizarre murder cases. But this time she also becomes the victim of crime when she’s abducted by a man determined to build a perfect family for himself, no matter the cost. And there’s more heartache for our heroine as ever since his brain surgery, Antoine hasn’t been quite the same. The couple have had to go back to square one, starting all over from scratch! How is Candice going to save their relationship? And just how far will she go to protect him when he’s accused of messing up professionally?

Love Candice Renoir!! Time for the main 2 characters to have a happy life… together. Develop the other characters back story more too!!

This is a wonderfully entertaining light family comedy with positive role models and a little bit of everything. I thoroughly enjoyed first two seasons and can't wait til more seasons are streamed through Amazon Prime or any other streaming channel.
i want to echo all the other comments about how delightful this series is. I would love it if the rest of the remaining seasons would be available. 2 seasons and then ….. I have never taken french but this series is and the acting is so good that I don't mind the subtitles at all.
Please bring more series of this wonderful show to US audiences! Come on Acorn… just 2 of 8?! Please indulge us Americans, some of us don't mind subtitles.

I am very impatiently waiting for Series 3 of Candice Renoir she's great I love how she solves the Crimes with her team! The interplay with her children her ex and her team all seems so reasonable and pretty much right on! I just love watching it please hurry thank you

Wonderful show! Likable characters, interesting story lines and laugh out loud humor. The dialogue is easy to follow with or without captions. I know that 10 seasons have been filmed so am hoping that Acorn will pick up Seasons 9 and 10. Cécile Bois is absolutely enchanting in her role as Commander Candice Renoir!! Merci encore!!
