In this final season, we return to the story seven months later, in a Spain ruled by the dictatorship. Lidia suffers revenge from Carmen on the Correction Center, while Francisco and her friends desperately look for her. Their story has undoubtedly marked a before and after for Netflix in Spain. Under the motto “It’s not for us, it’s for all of us”, this tale of friendship and commitment among women has conquered the worldwide audience.

What is Cable Girls About?

It’s the 1920s and Spain has just gotten its first national telephone company, located in Madrid. For four young women who get jobs there, it’s more than just work. It represents the progress that is being made at the time as women are gaining more equality with men. This drama series follows the ladies, known as “cable girls,” who feel attached in different ways — to their families, their partners, and their memories.
