Berlin Season 2

Was Berlin cancelled or renewed for season 2? When does it start on Netflix? Now that season 1 is over, fans are wondering if the show will continue for another season or not. In this post, we have summarized everything we know so far about the next season.

What Is Berlin About?

Pedro Alonso (La casa de papel) returns to the role of the hedonistic and clever Berlin. Alongside him, his new gang: Michelle Jenner (Isabel) plays Keila, an eminence in electronic engineering; Tristán Ulloa (Fariña) goes into the skin of Damián, a philanthropic professor and Berlin's confidant; Begoña Vargas (Welcome to Eden) plays Cameron, a kamikaze who always lives on the edge; Julio Peña Fernández (Through My Window) brings to life Roi, Berlin's faithful squire; and Joel Sánchez plays Bruce, the relentless man of action in the gang.

There are only two things that are sure to turn a bad day into a great one: love, and a payday worth millions. They’re what keep Berlin going through his golden years, a time when he still has no inkling of his illness and hasn’t gotten trapped like a rat in the Spanish Mint. This is where he starts preparing one of his most extraordinary heists: making jewels worth 44 million disappear like some sort of magic trick. To do it, he’ll enlist the help of one of the three gangs he’s ever stolen with.

Berlin and this gang will return to Netflix with a second season. The iconic character played by Pedro Alonso will be back with a new heist and more love.

Alongside him, his entire gang returns: Michelle Jenner (Isabel), who plays Keila, an expert in electronic engineering; Tristán Ulloa (Fariña) is Damián, a philanthropic professor and Berlin’s confidant; Begoña Vargas (Welcome to Eden) is Cameron, a kamikaze who always lives on the edge; Julio Peña Fernández (Through My Window) plays Roi, Berlin’s faithful squire; and Joel Sánchez brings Bruce to life, the relentless man of action in the gang.

During its premiere week, BERLIN was the most-watched series globally and reached the Top 10 in 91 countries. Since then, it has remained in the Top 10 for 7 consecutive weeks in non-English TV, amassing 348 million hours viewed and 53 million total views. The series is now ranked at number 9 among the most-watched non-English language series in the history of Netflix.

The filming of the second season of BERLIN, created by Álex Pina (La casa de papel, Sky Rojo) and Esther Martínez Lobato (La casa de papel, Sky Rojo), will begin in 2025.

Pedro Alonso, Michelle Jenner, Tristán Ulloa, Begoña Vargas, Julio Peña Fernández and Joel Sánchez will play their roles again in the new episodes of BERLIN
