What Is BattleBots About?
BattleBots features the biggest, baddest, strongest, and fastest next-generation robots from all over the world as they duke it out for supremacy in the rapidly exploding world of Robot Combat Sports. The premier robot combat competition is about to become even bigger than before. Discovery announced it has picked up an additional two seasons of BattleBots, totalling an unprecedented order of 80 hours of robot-crunching action.
This year’s select field features a host of brilliant new teams with meta breaking designs eagerly attempting to stand shoulder to shoulder with the returning legends of the sport. Tensions will soar as fan-favorites including Witch Doctor, SawBlaze, Hydra, Hypershock, Minotaur, past champion and current Golden Bolt winner, End Game, and reigning World Champion Tantrum, take on the fiercest teams from Europe, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and South America, all slugging it out in a series of battles to the death.
Will End Game or Tantrum keep their winning streaks alive against the deepest field in BattleBots history or will they end up in pieces? Will Riptide and Glitch extend their epic freshman runs, or will they suffer the dreaded sophomore slump? Sportscaster Chris Rose, and former UFC Fighter Kenny Floria are back to lead the action, giving their famous play-by-play and color analysis, while Faruq Tauheed returns as the Ring Announcer to get everyone in the arena, and at home, into the fighting spirit.

I love battle bots!! Just wish I could' be seen the last 2 years of battle bots. Please keep them on Discovery, I can't get discovery plus . I'm on a fixed budget (social securty) and can't afford more tv upgrades. I've really love to watch the technology into robotics, especially , robot fighting. Thank you for the best show on T V!!

My withdrawal symptoms are getting worse. I need some inter season feed of robot carnage. Don't be responsible for my turn to darker, harder programming substitution for lack of wholesome combat where only feelings are damaged, and the only casualties are investments in bots.

I've been a fan since the beginning. When it's the off season I go back and watch the old seasons. My wife told her friend that BattleBots is her husband's football season.

Heaven forbid we keep something on TV that’s wholesome and intelligent! These geniuses deserve to have their hard work displayed and the fan base is much larger than you would expect. Let’s go guys, if jersey shore can make it as long as it did…..
Where is the show? Networks establish a large loyal viewer following, and then let everybody down by being unpredictable and disappearing. This creates ill will instead of goodwill. This show is inspirational to young people in school, and is better than most of the trash on TV.
