AEW Dynamite Season 4

Was AEW Dynamite cancelled or renewed for season 4? When does it start on TBS? Now that season 3 is over, fans are wondering if the show will continue for another season or not. In this post, we have summarized everything we know so far about the next season.

What Is AEW Dynamite About?

AEW Dynamite, also known as Wednesday Night Dynamite or simply Dynamite, is a professional wrestling television program.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that began in March 2020, which caused restrictions for live events around the world, AEW ran empty arena shows from March 18–25 and again from May 6–August 19 from Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida, and taped six weeks of shows from March 31 to April 2 from One Fall Power Factory in Norcross, Georgia, AEW's de facto training facility. During these broadcasts, AEW used their employees and other in-ring talent to serve as the live audience for matches when they were not involved in matches or other on-air segments.

The All Elite Wrestling (AEW) franchise expands its WarnerMedia footprint with “AEW: Dynamite” moving to TBS, beginning January 5, 2022. Until then, AEW continues to deliver world-class matches and the most entertaining moments in professional wrestling today, with all-new episodes of “AEW: Dynamite” airing Wednesdays on TNT at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

“AEW: Dynamite” is delivering its best ratings since launching in October of 2019. Its current performance has the show’s strongest quarterly average ever in both total viewers and P18-49, up double-digits in audience vs. its performance a year ago. Most recently, “AEW: Dynamite” has been the #1 cable program on Wednesdays in P18-49 four weeks in a row.

Additionally, in 2022, “AEW: Rampage,” which features the world-renowned stars of AEW, will continue to air Fridays on TNT. Since its August 13 debut, “AEW: Rampage” has ranked as one of the top cable programs on Friday night. The second week of the show featuring the debut of CM Punk delivered the strongest ratings for the AEW franchise since the premiere of “AEW: Dynamite.”

Founded by CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan, AEW is a new professional wrestling league headlined by Kenny Omega, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Chris Jericho, Cody & Brandi Rhodes, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), Adam Cole, Sting, Jon Moxley, Miro, Lucha Bros., PAC, Hangman Page, MJF, Darby Allin, Nyla Rose, Red Velvet, Ruby Soho, Hikaru Shida, Thunder Rosa, Jade Cargill, Malakai Black, Andrade El Idolo, Christian Cage, Jungle Boy, Sammy Guevara, Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page, Orange Cassidy, Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs, Lance Archer, and many more. For the first time in many years, AEW is offering an alternative to mainstream wrestling, with a roster of world-class talent that is injecting new spirit, freshness and energy into the industry.

In response to Turner reaching a deal with the NHL, and in anticipation of TNT airing games on Wednesday Nights, in May 2021, it was announced that Dynamite would be moving to TNT’s sister channel TBS, also owned by WarnerMedia, in January 2022, which will see the return of professional wrestling programming on TBS following the cancellation of WCW Thunder that last aired on March 21, 2001. Additionally, it was also announced that AEW would begin airing a third hour of television as a new weekly show called Rampage, starting August 13, 2021 on TNT, which would also move to TBS along with Dynamite in January 2022. However, on September 23, 2021, AEW announced that only Dynamite would move to TBS, beginning January 5, 2022, while Rampage would remain on TNT, which airs on Fridays at 10pm ET
