ABC’s ‘American Idol’ Hits New Season High in Total Viewers
‘American Idol’ Is Sunday’s No. 1 Program for 2nd Week in Row in Adults 18-49

“American Idol” grew over the prior week by 6% in Total Viewers (7.0 million vs. 6.6 million) to score its most-watched telecast so far this season.
ABC’s “American Idol” was Sunday’s No. 1 program for the 2nd week in a row among Adults 18-49 (0.9/8). The ABC unscripted series dominated the night’s highest-rated program on CBS by 50% (0.6/6 for “60 Minutes” and “The Equalizer”), on Fox by 80% (0.5/4 for “Family Guy”) and on NBC by 125% (0.4/4 for “Magnum P.I.”).
