What Is The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch About?
“The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch” features a team of scientists and experts who conduct a search of this infamous 512-acre property located in Utah’s Uinta Basin. They attempt to find out the truth behind more than 200 years of mysteries — involving everything from UFO sightings and paranormal activities to animal mutilations and Native American legends of a shape-shifting creature known simply as, “The Skinwalker.”
For the first time ever, HISTORY is gaining full, unprecedented access to one of the most infamous and secretive hotspots of paranormal and UFO-related activities on earth, Skinwalker Ranch.
Anchored by never-before-seen footage of the ranch and what it contains, the series will feature a team of scientists and experts who will conduct a daring and thorough search of this infamous 512-acre property located in Utah’s Uinta Basin in an attempt to find out the “who?” “what?” and “why?” behind more than 200 years of UFO SIGHTINGS, bizarre animal mutilations and paranormal-related mysteries.
Utilizing the latest in cutting-edge technology from lasers and ground-penetrating radar to drone thermography, and more, the team will apply hard science and make shocking discoveries while going further and risking more than anyone has done on the ranch before.
Beginning in the 1950s, Skinwalker Ranch and the area around it has been referred to as “UFO alley,” where numerous anomalous events and strange activity have received worldwide media attention. Since then, the area has been the site of decades of study, some clandestinely funded by the government. In 1996, the property was purchased by billionaire businessman and UFO enthusiast, Robert Bigelow, who used it to conduct his own experiments into the study of the ranch and its other-worldly connections.
His findings were never shared with the public. Three years ago, the property was sold to a new owner who is now leading this team in a new investigation and, for the first time in history, allowing television cameras to document their shocking discoveries.

I am glad to hear that secrets of skinwalker ranch was renewed for a fourth season. The series is Fantastick. Being a fan of this type of phenomena all I can say is that it's awesome . The last 4 or 5 instalments of season 3 were off the chart. They were tension filled and absolutely thought provoking . This series is a hold mine well written well produce and the people themselves are a unique draw . They do not come of as phoney or money hungry. They have verifiable credentials and are seen as responsible fact based follow the science type professionals. They are not jumping to conclusions and appear to perform test that are reliable and repeatable some of the test/experiments fail some produce expected results and some produce results that create more questions than answers. Amazingly through it all and really over the last 3 seasons I can not recall any member of the team jump to a conclusion or imply anything about what they have learned. Which is also what the closing episodes of season three where simply mind blowing.
The series is a gold mind. The history channel has really developed some truely cool investigative reality shows over the course of the last 5 to 10 years. The only thing that I would that they do different is to sign them for the next 3 or 4 seasons . Get it done and over with this having to ask wait and hold your breath is nuts and make the fan base nuts. Additionally I'll bet you've lost some viewers because of the way renewal is done.
The one other question ild be really interested to find out more on is about the push back. Ild be interested how much push back the show and team members have gotten as a group and one on one. Also who did it and to what extent. Where serious threats ever made. And what protocols have y'all set up to counter push back.
So that's it I'm done thank you for your time thank you for the show. It's truely a very good series can not waith for season for five and beyond. Keep it coming and what are the tights of what to do with the information y'all have gained.
I absolutely LOVE this show! I am so excited to hear it's coming back in 2023. I hope it will be back on soon. I'm captivated by there findings and it's so hard to wait from week to week. This is on of the best shows on TV. We need programs like this to keep learning about the world we live in and what's here. I hope the government keeps their nose out of it. We have a right as citizens to know what's going on in our skies and places like the skinwalker ranch. Great cast too….Anxiously awaiting the return of the show.
I absolutely love this show I'm hooked my fine and fascinating exciting the people are great the so is just totally awesome I hope it goes on beyond season 4 we have to know what's in the Mesa I've wondered why they don't get a professional demolition team to blow those rocks away
