What Is The Curse of Oak Island About?
Oak Island is a tree-covered island on the south shore of Nova Scotia that has intrigued treasure hunters for more than 200 years. It is believed that the island is hiding one of the greatest treasures of all time, but no one has been able to find it. Enter Rick and Marty Lagina, brothers from Michigan who have bought the rights to much of the island to try to solve the mystery. The two use modern technology and good old American know-how to look for the treasure. But it won't be easy as the search is expensive and dangerous -- several people have died trying to strike it rich on Oak Island, inspiring the titular curse. The Laginas hope to avoid the curse long enough to find the treasure before they run out of money... or worse.
This season, continued dig efforts take place within the infamous Money Pit, Lot 5 and beyond while stunning discoveries continue to be unearthed on Oak Island. Additionally, the team’s research leads them to embark on the most monumental journey overseas yet that will offer new and shocking evidence that could finally connect the Knights Templar to this centuries long tale.

I LOVE this show! Possibly treasure island hunt and history all rolled up into one!
This show has captured my interest since the beginning. Would hate to have the show end now when still finding new clues that hopefully will reveal the mystery. Have learned so much history of North America from this show
I absolutely love this show. The brotherhood is strong and the characters are all so great! History.. fellowship.. treasure!! What else is there?!talk about a captivating hit series! So much suspense with the treasure. Now suspense as to when it will return? This must be a cursed treasure! So it IS about the money!
