Amy and Chris are quarantined at home in Martha's Vineyard with their nanny, who looks after baby Gene and runs the camera during nap times. Chef Chris will prepare meals from their pantry with an assist from Amy.
In May 2020, Food Network announced that comedian Amy Schumer and her husband Chris Fischer would star in an eight-episode cooking show, Amy Schumer Learns to Cook, which follows the couple cooking in their home kitchen while quarantined during the COVID-19 pandemic. The series was self-shot and also features Schumer donating to Coalition of Immokalee Workers Fair Food Program and domestic violence organizations.
The last episode of the series was released on September 7, 2020 in the US.

Wait just a blankety-blank-blank minute. ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT AMY SCHUMER LEARNS TO COOK MIGHT NOT BE BACK? Yet you keep on all of those goofy Halloween segments, "Worst Cooks" segments, yadda? What a revoltin' development. I loved everything about that show; and, no, I don't know these people and have no skin in the game. I just loved living vicariously through them and also enjoyed their recipes! Now I'll need a DOUBLE Bicyclette. You need to make this happen, Food Network. Please?
