Former NFL player Spencer Strasmore has to find a new career. He decides to become a financial manager who services and helps his younger friends at the NFL.
In the season 5, After learning of competing owner offers, Spencer (Dwayne Johnson) engages with past allies. Joe (Rob Corddry) is tasked with apologizing for creating a hostile work environment with the help of Kate (Catherine Haena Kim), a sharp Sports X exec. Ricky (John David Washington) and Vernon (Donovan W. Carter) each consider different kinds of futures, while Charles (Omar Miller) tries to hide some unwelcome news.
The last episode of the series was released on October 13, 2019 in the US.
