Spring Baking Championship Season 9
Was Spring Baking Championship cancelled or renewed for season 9? When does it start on Food Network? Who will be returning for the new season? In this post, we have summarized everything we know so far about the next season.
What Is Spring Baking Championship About?
Molly Yeh brings her passion for baking as host of Spring Baking Championship, as she challenges the best bakers in America to create and elevate springtime desserts through 10 episodes that must win over judges Kardea Brown, Nancy Fuller, and Duff Goldman, to become Spring Baking Champion and start spring off right.
Spring Baking Championship kicks off with a special two-hour, super-sized episode on Monday, March 6th at 8pm ET/PT. In the premiere, 12 bakers enter the Spring Baking kitchen and are tasked by host Jesse Palmer to give a fresh Spring makeover to the desserts that made them fall in love with baking. Judges Kardea Brown, Nancy Fuller and Duff Goldman determine which baker’s skills have blossomed to move on in the competition. One of the biggest culminations of love is a wedding – in the finale the three remaining bakers must design and create a dream wedding cake for a real couple. In the end, one baker is crowned the new Spring Baking Champion and takes home the cash prize and a spot in Food Network Magazine. Fans can meet the newest batch of bakers and see the best creations from past seasons of Spring Baking Championship at FoodNetwork.com/SpringBakingChampionship. There is definitely biased judgment among one of the judges! Not watching next season!
Love the show. Dislike Molly Yeh as host. I hope they get a new host for next year. I also hope Carla Hall comes back.
Molly's twists were juvenile and unprofessional for the caliber of bakers competing on the show. I wasn't surprised that Romy walked off, and don't blame him. That last bake off requirement was well below the caliber of talent for the two bakers. Stupid sprinkles! Molly is just a home baker and not up to the job of hosting ANY baking championship with professional bakers with her choice of that riduculous "cookie salad" to the last straw of the use of sprinkles for a professional bake-off. Up until now, I have really enjoyed the baking championship shows, but will have to reconsider watching from now on.
I hope there will be a Season 9 of Spring Baking Championship – just not with the juvenile Molly Yeh as host.
Watched faithfully every year. Hated the return of an eliminated contestant. Detested that SPRINKLES were supposed to determine thel last baker in finals. Utterly stupid! That's baking?
I have watched all the seasonal baking championship shows and love them. This was the worst thing I have seen and even stopped watching until I heard that Romy walked out. I had to watch that episode. Molly Yeh is so childish and juvenile. The challenges were so stupid even the bakers were not happy about them most of the time. Don't know who picked her but it was a big mistake. Hopefully they will have a new host for the season because I won't watch if she is there.
I am a faithful watcher of the seasonal baking championships. I love the judges, learn from the show, really enjoyed them until this Spring Baking Championship. VERY DISAPPOINTED in the judging and the outcome. The hostess ruined the show, the judging did not appear to be fair, the wrong person won the competition. SO disappointed. Why did you ruin a good thing?
Molly Yeh probably a nice person, but talked and distracted the Bakers horrendously. There was a strange but strong and obvious bias toward the ultimate winner. She had a personal meltdown midway through the competition after several failures in both the pre heats and the main heat's. She was nursed and jollies along in an unprecedented manner And survived MANY a failure that should have ushered her off long before Romy took off his apron. PLEASE! Bring back Carla or Lorraine! They know whereof they speak.
Love this show. Did not like Molly Yeh as host. Would tape show and block her part out.
If the intention is to bring Molly Yeh back as host, food network please cancel this series and put the viewers out of their collective misery. Line up a dozen people with freshly manicured nails in front of a chalkboard and let them collectively scratch it for an hour and it would still be LESS grating and irritating than watching her host SBC..
I love love this show I learn so much and I really enjoy the different types of baked goods at each shoe I also llovr Molly yeh as the Host
