What Is Secrets of the Viking Stone About?
Actor Peter Stormare's personal and often humorous journey through Minnesota to learn the truth about the Kensington Runestone, a disputed proof that vikings discovered America, through meetings with scholars, skeptics and sensationalists.
After getting the go-ahead from the State of Minnesota to begin excavation with the archaeological team at Runestone Hill where the Kensington Runestone is believed to have been found in 1898, Peter Storemare and Elroy Balgaard are that much closer to solving the mystery that has enraptured scholars and fervent theorists for decades. An all new season of SECRETS OF THE VIKING STONE premieres February 21.

I love this show. The humor mixed with the history is remarkable. I believe the Kensington Ruinstone is real too many geologist have proven that fact

The third season needs to happen. I’m a history person and the Vikings are a part of our American history. Visited the stone in RI. This is important for those of us who want to know about our heritage. I’m planning to visit MN but it’s a road trip for me.

I love this show! I love history and this show has a lot of historical facts. I do believe that the Vikings visited parts of North America including the northern United States. I am ready for season 3. I really hope it is renewed!

I love the show and am hoping for more episodes and seasons. There is certainly more research and science to be done! The Kensington Runestone is real, as well as all the coastal runestones that have been found all over New England. I hope to see much more to prove the Vikings were here, in and all over the United States between the years 900 and 1400. 😊👍🏽
