Set as a prequel series to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, the new drama will follow the titular psychiatric administrator from Salem State Hospital. Nurse Ratched takes place in 1947 and outlines the character's trajectory from a normal nurse to a nightmarish monster.
