What Is Making the Cut About?
Fashion competition series hosted by Heidi Klum & Tim Gunn featuring 10 talented entrepreneurs and designers from around the world, who are ready to take their emerging brands to the next level and become the newest global phenomenon.
Season Three of the fashion-competition series, hosted and executive produced by Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, will return this summer on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Actress and House of Harlow 1960 creative director Nicole Richie and fashion pop icon and Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott will return as judges, with additional guest judges – who will be revealed at a later date – making appearances throughout the season.
Los Angeles’ diverse fashion scene will continue to set the perfect backdrop for Making the Cut. Some of this season’s runway locations include the iconic Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, the unique desert landscape of Vasquez Rocks, and a rooftop of one of Downtown LA’s many skyscrapers, with sweeping views of the city skyline.
Filmed in Los Angeles, Season Two showcases 10 designers from five different countries who compete in assignments that challenge not only their design skills but also their ability to run all facets of a fashion brand. Throughout the competition, designers who do not “make the cut” will be eliminated, with the winner crowned during the finale episode receiving the ultimate prize of $1 million to invest in their business, the opportunity to sell a collection in Amazon Fashion’s store, and a mentorship with Amazon Fashion.
Judging their looks and business acumen are some of fashion’s most exciting and fresh names, global supermodel Winnie Harlow and Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott, plus guest judges, including award-winning fashion designer and activist Prabal Gurung and costume designer and celebrity stylist Shiona Turini.
Limited editions of the winning look from each episode will be available for purchase immediately following each episode exclusively in Amazon Fashion’s Making the Cut store. After most winning looks from Season One sold out in under two days, Season Two will offer increased availability of winning looks. We encourage customers to shop early so they can watch it and wear it.
The series is executive produced by Sara Rea, Page Feldman, Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, and Jennifer Love and is produced by Hello Sunshine and Amazon Studios.

I really enjoy watching making the cut. I am currently watching season 2 and am excited to watch season 3 and l hope to continue on with further seasons. Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn make the show and its contestants. Bravo
Making the Cut is fabulous and interesting. Please bring it back. It is much better than project runway. The designers respect each other more and the focus is more on the brains of the designers than drama.
Would love to know how past designers are doing now… and if the show helped them grow their business.
Honestly making the cut is such an amazing show and I hope and pray they will be making a season 4,5, & beyond! Heidi and Tim Gun are the best judges and I can’t say enough amazing things about making the cut! Love love love!!!!!!!!!
Ok, season 4 & 5 have been filmed…why do we have to wait so long for it to be available? Come on! It's obvious popular. Stop the torture?!

I love the format so much more than Project Runway. It seems to develop the designers to a higher, more professional level. I watch both shows because of Heidi and Tim, but I really prefer Making the Cut. Come on season 4! We are so excited to watch it!
I just love making the cut. At first.it bothered me they had seamstresses, but in the real world that is how it's done. The designers are allowed and encouraged to showcase their point of view and it always captures my attention.
